The Theory of One (or how to get work done)

Regardless of the raison d’etre, I often have trouble with motivation on these projects. It comes in great spurts followed by dry periods. I focus for two weeks, pumping out volumes of code and then I can’t touch the code for weeks, sometimes years. I will do research, I will start other projects, I will browse the web anything to avoid programming on that one project. Sometimes I can’t get anything done on any of my projects.
