    No iPhone for France?

Because of France's requirement by law to have all cell phones be available for unlocking, Apple may not be able to release the iPhone in France. Apple's 5 year exclusive agreement with AT&T may have shot them in the foot this time. The deal with AT&T may require exclusivity worldwide, to avoid imported phones being sold on the Grey market, so that Apple can enjoy the kickbacks from AT&T.
